The Sober Goggles are a Rare magic item which require attunement. Once attuned, the user can speak the command word and look through the gem within the following ten minutes to see with truesight (see through illusions, invisibility, shapechanging, etc). The gem has up to 3 charges and regains 1d3 charges each dawn. It is based on the D&D item Gem of Seeing.
It looks like a walking stick with a monocle on the end.
One was available in Hogan's Knife, being sold by Grizzard the Wizard 43 for 580 gold pieces. Following the dropbear attack by the Kidman Family, it was taken by the party and worn by McKenzie.
