- "They call me Reg the Wedge because of my broad shoulders and tiny waist and legs, I'm built like a wedge. Also, if you have any problems with today's barney, I'm gonna wedge me boot up yer arse!"
History[]
Little is known of Reg the Wedge's history prior to his encounter with Gadai, McKenzie and Plank. At some point, he established himself as Master of Ceremonies at The Barneydome in Nippenbiddy, and became a member of their ruling council. He oversees and commentates both the publicly-acknowledge daytime matches at The Barneydome, and the illicit nighttime baby fights.
Characteristics[]
Reg the Wedge is only heard, and never seen, in his appearances. His public persona is that of a bombastic and confident showman, quick-spoken and focused on making the events that he narrates as entertaining and engaging as possible. Since he is on the Nippenbiddy Council, it is clear that he is one of the individuals willing to continue with the practice of fighting babies, valuing money over the happiness of the residents whose babies end up injured or killed.
Episodes[]
Episode 10: Beyond Barneydome Part 1[]
Reg the Wedge introduces the first qualifier fight of Gadai, McKenzie and Plank against the Swooper Brothers, and gives minimal commentary as the fight plays out. He then explains the reward of the prize round as five thousand gold, and introduces the new fighting team of Barbarabarian, Chugger-Bugger and Channing Taters. Again, he gives minimal commentary, and does not interject or express surprise when Sheriff Piggy Wolf enters to arrest Channing.
Episode 11: Beyond Barneydome Part 2[]
Reg the Wedge can again be heard introducing and giving occasional commentary on the fight between Channing Taters, Gadai, McKenzie and Plank in their infant forms against the four actual infants they are expected to fight.

Quotes[]
- "G'day and welcome to the legendary Nippenbiddy Barneydome, where berks and boofheads barney for big bucks! I'm Master of the Pits and Master of Ceremonies and Master of the Barbecue - not that that's, er, relevant today - Reg the Wedge. They call me Reg the Wedge because of my broad shoulders and tiny waist and legs, I'm built like a wedge. Also, if you have any problems with today's barney, I'm gonna wedge me boot up yer arse! And also my strides are uncomfortably high." - Episode 10: Beyond Barneydome Part 1
Trivia[]
- Reg the Wedge does not appear to be a spellcaster, but makes use of a magical item in order to make his voice louder. This is likely a simple spell based on the Thaumaturgy cantrip, which has voice amplification as a specific example of its use.
