Grizzard the Wizard 43 is a gnome shopkeeper who has a magical items store in Hogan's Knife. He states that his name is Grizzard the Wizard 43 because 42 other people had thought of that name first, indicating that he previously had a different name before changing it. He refers to a Mrs Grizzard, whom he says will be very interested in the Griffon Grease he has traded.
His store was the source of the Smart Arse (Cap) and the Sober Goggles.
He was the first character in the podcast to represent the classic "wizard" voice.

Grizzard the Wizard 43 greets McKenzie as she enters the magical items store and outlines the prices of several items to her.
Episode 7: The Bogan Bash Part 2[]
Grizzard the Wizard 43 was initially unaware of the dropbear attack by the Kidman Family. Although unwilling to simply give the Smart Arse (Cap) to McKenzie, even for the good of the town, he agrees to trade it for a jar of Griffon Grease. He objects when McKenzie also steals the Sober Goggles as she is leaving the store, but does not attempt to physically or magically challenge her.
