Griffon was a dwarf and a former employee of the Chunky Bloke Pie Mine. He was killed during Mrs Mac's attempted takeover of the mine, and his body left in the sacrificial chamber in the previously boarded-up section of the mine.
It is implied that he was in some sort of relationship with Definitely Stumpy, whose body had on it a jar labelled "Griffon's Grease".
