Dingledongers are a creature native to Fantasy Australia. They are a canid of size Large (they occupy a 10ft by 10ft, or 3m by 3m, space) which otherwise appear largely similar to real-world dingoes.
All dingledongers communicate by slapping their penises rhythmically against the ground. This includes females, meaning that females likely have a pseudopenis structure similar to real-world hyenas.
They are pack animals, with strong social structures. They also have parental and nurturing instincts, which can in exceptional stances be extended to other creatures.
The halfling Gadai was raised by dingledongers.
