- A pale young woman with a headscarf comes, sort of coming cautiously up to the gates, lays a bouquet of lilies by the side of the gate, looks at you and starts to head away.
History[]
Little is known of Charlotte's history prior to her meeting with Gadai, McKenzie and Plank. She appears to have lived in Gunnacarkit for her entire life, and is aware of the family story that her great-uncle Richard Dickson disappeared on the premises of Solomon Brumby's Bakery.
Characteristics[]
Charlotte is a young human woman, mild-spoken and polite, including not even swearing. She appears somewhat skittish, being frightened by Spookaroo and the name Shirley. Whether this is because of the urban legend of Sausageface Shirley, or specific knowledge relating to Shirley Shitley of Gunnacarkit, is unclear.
She seems attracted to Plank, calling him handsome, but mostly expresses it in indirect ways such as drawing attention to her undoing bodice. This may be a reflection of an inability to clearly express herself.
Episodes[]
Episode 12: Spookaroo Special, The Haunted Bakery Part 1[]
Charlotte approaches the front gates of Solomon Brumby's Bakery and lays down a bouquet of lilies. When approached by Gadai, McKenzie and Plank, she states her name and explains that she is laying them in memory of her great-uncle Richard Dickson who disappeared from the site many years ago.
At mention of the name Shirley, she goes even paler and turns to leave, only for Plank to restrain her. The buttons of her bodice begin to come undone, and she draws attention to it while calling Plank handsome, but says that she cannot linger with him on Spookaroo and needs to return home as her family will be worried. She then runs away into the mist.

Quotes[]
- "Well, if that'll be all, miss... I shouldn't be around, once the sun goes down."
Trivia[]
- Charlotte's name almost certainly came from Plank running into the mist shouting for a "Charlotte" when he was meant to be looking for a "Shirley".
