- And then the doors fling open and in strides a tall man. A tall man wearing white gloves and a tall top hat. And he says, "Stop this nonsense immediately!"
History[]
It is unknown whether Bootie McScoots is a human or a weredingledonger. He is a servant of the Jackman Family from Whoopdy Woo, and was heavily involved in the raising of Channing Taters. After Channing left Whoopdy Woo, Bootie McScoots appears to have followed him across Fantasy Australia in some sort of protective or monitoring capacity. It is not clear whether Channing was aware of this following.
Characteristics[]
Bootie McScoots is a prim, proper and loyal servant of the Jackman Family. He does not appreciate being mocked but restrains himself from physically expressing anger with those who do so, and steadfastly keeps Channing's identity and status a secret. He is aware of when to make use of his political clout and the implicit threat behind it.
Episodes[]
Episode 10: Beyond Barneydome Part 1[]
As Channing Taters is about to be sentence without evidence for the killing of three babies in Nippenbiddy, Bootie McScoots enters the mayor's office. He states that he is an ambassador from Whoopdy Woo and that Channing is important to the royal Jackman Family. This political pressure is enough to prevent an arbitrary execution and to buy time for Gadai, McKenzie and Plank to help Channing investigate the real reason for the disappearance of the children. However, Bootie McScoots refuses to materially assist in the investigation and leaves them to their work.
Episode 11: Beyond Barneydome Part 2[]
After the group have left The Barneydome and as Gadai is about to start questioning Channing on his importance to the Jackman Family, Bootie McScoots whisks Channing away to a carriage bearing the Jackman Family crest in order to leave the city.

Quotes[]
- "Now, despite this vile creature's appearance and behaviour, I'm sorry to admit that this creature is of import to House Jackman of Whoopdy Woo and I will not see this injustice happen without a fair trial." - Episode 10: Beyond Barneydome Part 1
- "That is enough, Mister... 'Taters'." - Episode 11: Beyond Barneydome Part 2
Trivia[]
- He indicates to mayor Bernie Dohne that he has heard previous accusations about eating children, presumably levelled against Channing Taters. Given Channing's reaction, it is not clear whether these accusations have taken place or whether Bootie McScoots is making a more general point about anti-weredingledonger prejudice and the making of assumptions.
